Saving the Planet One Story at a Time

We are all aware of the effect that trains, planes, and automobiles have on our climate, but what about the carbon footprint of animal agriculture? The United Nations found that 40% more greenhouse gas emissions come from industrial livestock than from all the world’s cars, planes, ships, and trains combined.  Green Hero Leilani Münter is revving up her engine to spread awareness about eating more plant-based diets and how it can greatly impact our planet. Many reports show that if you eat even one less burger a week, it is the equivalent to taking a car off the road for over 500 km!

After partnering up with VegNews Magazine1% for the Planet, and Wildlife Works (donating 100% of its KuKhanga line to the cause) to get a “VegNation” race car on the track, Leilani is actively seeking additional partners to join this historic campaign. Once fully-funded, we will be able to watch Leilani drive the VegNation car in a major 2013 ARCA race and have it televised on the SPEED Channel, spreading the word to an extremely large audience.

Check out the VegNation campaign, and the stellar movie trailer that goes along with it…

“One Woman…One Race Car…The Plant Eaters Are Coming”…

“By adopting a more plant-based diet, we can each help curb climate change while also doing something good for our health, for animals, and for our taste buds…we’re on the right track toward a more sustainable diet.” – Leilani Münter
