The Slow Food Movement

Jamie Kennedy: Locally Grown Food

Enjoying the process of making a meal is again one of the things that got lost in the 20th century.
Everybody thinks they don’t have time, but it’s about carving out time. – Jamie Kennedy

Jamie Kennedy is one of Canada’s most celebrated chefs. His passion for locally grown food has shaped the evolution of Canadian cuisine, one dish at a time.

In the 1980’s Jamie distinguished himself in Toronto’s culinary scene by pioneering the slow food movement in Ontario with long time friend and fellow chef, Michael Stadtländer.
